Single host or multi host
A single host licence covers one plugin family. The installers are split into Adobe (After Effects and Premiere Pro), OFX (Nuke, Fusion, Flame, Silhouette, Vegas Pro, Mistika and others) and Avid. If you use the tracker in After Effects and also in Nuke on the same workstation, you need the multi host licence, which costs about twice as much.
The standalone app is a separate question. The vendor's comparison grid lists both a standalone option and a plugin option for the full product, but its pricing FAQ does not say which licence types include the standalone. Ask the sales team or check the store's licence description before you buy if you plan to run it outside a host.
Which payment option pays off
Twelve months on the monthly plan cost $444 for a single host, $149 more than the annual plan. Monthly only makes sense for a project shorter than about eight months, or to cover a short contract.
The perpetual licence at $695 costs the same as about two years and four months of the annual plan. It includes one year of upgrades and support; after that the program keeps working, but new versions need the separate Upgrade and Support plan, whose price is not on the pages read for this guide. The vendor moved to a yearly release cycle in 2019 and has added large features every year since, so check the Mocha Pro review to judge how much the upgrades matter to you.

Discounts, students and coupons
The vendor offers a student licence through a request form linked in its site footer; the price and eligibility rules are not on the pages read for this guide. It also runs time limited sales on its store. This site lists no coupon codes, because none are published by the vendor and third party codes often turn out to be expired.
The Boris FX Suite bundles Mocha Pro with Sapphire, Continuum, Silhouette and other products. It is priced separately and is worth a look only if you would use several of those tools.
